My story
Born in Amsterdam to a psychiatric nurse and a painter. I grew up in various neighbourhoods, but the Pijp district made a particularly strong impression on me. Early on, I taught myself to fit in, to belong and to guard harmony, to keep things cosy in a family and a neighbourhood in which I often experienced tension. Do I belong? Am I doing well? Do I deserve a place in the group? Are examples of questions that kept me busy and to this day sometimes crop up in my life. Many years of self-exploration, therapy and getting older later 🙂 I understand well why I have studied professionally and privately about the human psyche, behaviour, our patterns and how we can take steps to live a fuller less burdened life.
Since 2005, I have lived in Zaandam, where I live with my family and receive clients in my practice. In my career, I have always been involved in developing and guiding organisations, teams and individuals. My LinkedIn. I have had many different jobs and in 2013 I started working as an independent psychologist, psychological coach.
I use different working forms and methods and continue to explore ways to keep others and myself moving. I also regularly use boxing or other physical forms to reach insights. I box both individually and with groups.

Psychological coaching
In a psychological coaching programme, you explore your thoughts and reactions through conversations, exercises and deep reflection. This offers insight into your behavioural patterns. Grow and achieve your goals with targeted guidance.

Boxing coaching
In a boxing session, we enter the ring together and you experience how you respond by literally fighting. By combining the physical with an analysis of your behaviour and emotions, you gain insight into your strengths and weaknesses.

Group trainer
Getting to work with your team in a stand-alone training course or programme, we will work on themes such as cooperation, communication and leadership.
